This book was great very well written I recommend it is way above average of what I expected ,👌ðŸ¼â¤ï¸ðŸ’• Excellent
I like this author, I find the books to be pretty funny in parts which is nice. But, after reading like 3 of her books, I'm noticing a lot of patterns to the stories. There is always a surprise pregnancy even after the couple uses condoms. There is always a fight right before the woman can tell him shes pregnant that drags out that part. Then, when he does find out, he is always happy and says "I'm over the moon!"... Then, predictably at the end, the stories end with her telling him she is pregnant again. I guess overall, the stories are more interesting and less cheesy than other romance writers which is why I like them, there is a good plot. But some of the interactions are getting boring and predictable in each book. Let's try and use some different phrases and situations instead of the surprise pregnancy thing all the time.
Joy is an aspiring dancer, working as a waitress and living with her mother. Braden is a successful business man who is trying to advance his company and turn it into an app. When the two meet, Braden can’t take his eyes off of Joy, she is a beautiful dancer and he is drawn to her. Through circumstances that are somewhat out of his control, Braden needs a fake fiancé, and Joy is who he thinks can handle the job. Joy has some issues of her own, and with what Braden is offering she may be able to finally make her dreams come true. When a wrench is thrown in, can the both Joy and Braden admit their feelings, or will they stay alone forever?I have to say that I greatly appreciate that this book isn’t your typical cookie cutter romance. There is some suspense thrown in, that makes this book a page turner. I needed to know how things were going to turn out for everyone involved. Aubrey has a way of pulling the reader in, and like I said her books aren’t your typical romance. I do hope that Aubrey gives us some more of Liam and Kendra in another book because I definitely think there is a story there!
Fake fiancé themes seem to be all the rage, at the moment, with romance authors - fortunately for ME! I especially enjoy that troupe, and author Aubrey Wright pens one that is sure to please. In this entertaining short, both Brandon and Joy are characters that would seem to benefit from this type of arrangement. Brandon is already successful, but envisions his matchmaking service as an application. While Joy, is a beautiful dancer who longs to attend a prestigious dancing school. Two people with a vision, who didn't plan for the detour that is love. Great relatable characters, suspense, intrigue and tons of passion and steam. "Mr. Fake Fiance," by Aubrey Wright, is a steamy romance, that romance readers are sure to enjoy. I received this book as an ARC and I volunteered this review.
Joy and Braden make a hot couple. Braden is a matchmaker who is somewhat afraid of love for himself due to tragedy. He’s amazing at what he does but to move forward in his career, Braden needs a wife or at least fake fiancée. Joy is an aspiring dancer who makes ends meet by waitressing and living with her mom. Joy is miserable with her mom who expects Joy to take care of her and go ignore all of her dreams and aspiration. When Joy and Braden meet, sparks immediately fly. There is an attraction there. Each has seen each other at work and are impressed. They decide to help one another by going into a fake engagement. Watching them fall for one another is sweet. Their love scenes are quite steamy. This book had everything from steamy love scenes, awww moments where you can see these two start to fall in love, and an element of danger from a obsessed fan who won’t give up. This was a great book. I received an ARC and I’m volunteering my opinion freely.
FABULOUS!!!!!! Mr Fake Fiancé is a exciting story full of suspense, psychos, heartbreak, love, and drama!!! Aubrey Wright has written a beautiful story that had me eager to read each chapter!Braden is a wealthy man who specializes in matchmaking services. He needs funding to create a matchmaking App. He sees Joy dancing. Joy is seeking entrance into a prestigious dance school.There’s soooooo much in this little jewel of a story that I can’t even begin to cover it all here. Aubrey’s writing style draws the reader in and just never lets go!!!! I LOVED this story!!!Don’t miss Mr Fake Fiancé!!! It’s a WONDERFUL read!!I voluntarily received an Advance Reader Copy of this book for an honest review.
Dr. Love and a pole dancer? Perfect! I love a good fake fiancé book. This book had a cute premise with a little bit of a twist since the MC is a matchmaker. Think Tony Robbins offering how to fall in love seminars.I would have given it four stars, but I wanted more from the characters. I thought Braden was underdeveloped. I could have easily fallen in love with him if given just a little bit more...This was my first book by Aubrey Wright, and I found her writing style easy to read and enjoyable.I was lucky enough to get this book for free, and this is my honest review.
I absolutely loved this book! The characters were raw and real. There are so many people out there that have a negative look on love and marriage and this book focuses on just that. Joy and Braden each have their own issues and share a similar thought towards love. They enter into a fake engagement both for their own gain. What starts off as fake slowly starts to be tested by their natural chemistry, but both of them resist their feelings in fear of heartbreak. I love that their feelings come from the result of real life experiences that people have. I have to say that I really don't like Joy's mom and the manipulative guilt trip she always gives Joy. I know there's really people out there that do that to people and I just couldn't imagine ever wanting to continue helping someone like that, even if it is your mom. Aubrey is a wonderful story teller and had me soaking up the words faster than my eyes could move. This was my first book of Aubrey Wright and I can't wait to snatch up the rest of her books and all her future endeavors. I highly recommend you give Joy and Braden's story a chance.
