I think people can be quick to the judgment that because Amanda and Gina have one book and Michelle has another there must be animosity between them. They mention in the beginning of Hope that Michelle was invited to join them but she decided to tell her story separately. That makes sense to me, to be honest. She was held captive the longest and endured the worst of the worst of his abuse. It's like their captor took his harshest aggressions out on her and when he got to Amanda and Gina he was "gentler" (which, he wasn't! So that says a lot).In a sense, while they survived together, Michelle's story is on a different wavelength. They do mention her but don't go into much detail about what she endured because they respected her wish to tell her story on her own.He tried to pit them against each other. Let's not keep his vision alive. Both books make it clear the girls cared about and looked out for each other. Both books are powerful and heartbreaking. All three girls very clearly had their own distinct healing processes (for example, Michelle confronted him in court but Gina and Amanda didn't want to. Gina didn't even want to hear him speak on TV)I wish each of them nothing but happiness and success!

Although these two girls were victims of the disgusting man in Cleveland, they do their absolute best not to mention Michelle Knight (the longest and most victimized victim of them all) as much as they can. If you read "Finding Me...A Decade of Darkness, A Life Reclaimed: A Memoir of the Cleveland kidnappings" By Michelle Knight, you will get an entirely different account of what really went on behind the walls of that house. Why Amanda Berry and Gina DeJesus have shunned Michelle Knight is beyond me and probably all of us except the three of those girls and even perhaps the little girl born to Amanda Berry whilst in the captivity of this horrific man. If you want the truth and raw emotional truth regarding this reality, and do not plan on reading both books, I suggest you read the above-mentioned book by Michelle Knight. She tells the story of all three captives, not just the story of the "main two." Michelle Knight was the longest and most tortured captive yet considered the "third victim" basically because no one cared about her before her capture and most after her capture, except Dr. Phil. Thank God for Dr. Phil because if not for him, we may never have known the truth to include Michelle Knight's story.

While I read this book with an open and compassionate mind, and can honestly say that I find Amanda and Gina's courage and fortitude to be astonishing during the endless depravity they were forced to endure, I also wondered at the continual ommissions of Michelle Knight in the telling of their story. Indeed, Michelle was trapped the longest of the three, and conceived 5 individual pregnancies as a result of violent rape, only to have each fetus viciously beaten out of her body. Yet none of that was included in this book, but rather a brief reference of Michelle "being made to lose her baby". Just one miscarriage was referred to, and only in an oblique and vague manner.I felt all through the book that somehow Michelle was not welcomed to be part of a threesome that offered support and comfort to one another. Once the girls were freed it wasn't mentioned that Michelle was gravely ill from long-standing abuse and poor nutrition, to the point that she had to remain in the hospital for several days until she could begin to stabilize. And where was Michelle when Amanda and Gina were invited to meet the president and speak at the White House? Wasn't that personal triumph every bit Michelle's too, just as much as it was Gina's and Amanda's? I also felt sad for Michelle once they had been found and rescued. Gina and Amanda had large, loving families to go home to. Michelle had no one. For that reason alone, an effort should have been made to reach out to her, include her in all celebrating and certainly being presented at the White House. I'm personaly offended to see Michelle receive such disinterest and almost a dismissive flicking away. All three girls endured unspeakable horrors together, under the same small roof. It seems only natural that they would bond together and forge a friendship built from the ashes of that horrific decade of hell.I find it so sad to see Michelle, with no family support system, strike out alone and try to rebuild her life and I feel that omission dragged the book down. I read Michelle's account of her experiences in her book "Finding Me" and feel there was much more honesty and compassion for the other two girls and their suffering, too, in her relating of those awful 10 years.

I read this after reading Michelle Knight's book called Finding Me. I found it very compelling and interesting to hear the side of Amanda Berry and Gina Dejesus as I did while reading Michelle Knight's version. One thing I liked about this book was the journal entries that were included, and I found the different point of views to be very intriguing. What these girls went through is something that most of us cannot even begin to relate to, and I commend them for having the strength and courage to re-live that nightmare in order to put it all down into a book. I found myself unable to put the book down at times, and other times I cried right along with them. Usually when you get lost in a book you know that it is just a story, but in this case it is simply heart-wrenching to think that this was real life. I will say the only thing I did not like in this book was the long section describing Ariel's background. I think most can agree with me that he is not worth the ink on the pages within this book. I couldn't even read that section as I didn't care to know anything about that terribly disgusting individual. Some may disagree, but that is your prerogative. I will also mention, if you haven't read Michelle's book yet, you should. I actually liked it better, although I think all of the girls and their books deserve equal recognition.

Kid's Favorite and Full of Activities!! October 2, 2014-------------------------------------------------------------------------My son loves to spend his lazy evenings by doing something interesting like coloring pictures or discovering mazes on his activity book. While I was searching for children's activity books on the Kindle store, this book title grabbed my attention; moreover its cover page design is "Cute & Cuddly" indeed. Pictures are clear and subjects of coloring are rich in educational value also. My son's most favourite part is its "Activity worksheets", which are accomplished with unique ideas. Overall, this activity book is a source of unlimited fun. Activity worksheets as well as coloring pages are easy to use. And also helps to accelerate my kid's intelligence level. My kid is so happy getting such a wonderful gift from me.

What a neat coloring/activity format! I love how it can be enjoyed with both traditional elements as well as advanced technology aspects as well. My grandchildren will love this, and they can all enjoy it together for different reasons. My little ones will have fun coloring their pictures to match the illustrations, and the older kids will enjoy the activities. One of them will probably decide to both draw a copy of the colored illustration and then color her copied version. I am going to save this for them to enjoy when we travel for Thanksgiving…this with an iPad or tablet, crayons, colored pencils, and blank paper will make for a pleasant trip I do believe!

The pictures are terrific with details that children will find something to enjoy- be it animals, international landmarks, or fun activities. My personal favorite were the elephants balancing on balls in front of the Statue of Liberty while my daughter loved the cowboy bears by the roller coasters. There are always new details to find and something to enjoy. I liked how the coloring illustrations are used again in the activity section. My 6-year old had fun going through the whole book.

Way too much to pay for what it is

very boring, does not hold childs interest .

My sons, although they're already almost 7 and 8 yrs old, still love to do colors and whenever they see books, they immediately get their crayons ready and color every page they see. I thought I'd get them a new coloring book that they won't just color, but a book from where they can learn a lot more. So this time, I got them Idan Boaz's Juggling and Acrobatic Stunts: Coloring & Activity Book because this one not only offers kids the chance to learn about juggling and other balance sports. This book also contains images of the famous landmarks all around the world, from Paris with love, to the Leaning Tower of Pisa, to the Statue of Liberty and even amusements parks and under the sea! Very informative and creative indeed! We love the animal pictures as well.As always, my kids are happy with the bonus treats in the coloring book, because there were also some activities that help them think and maneuver. I really like how my kids interact with each other better because of what they learn and see on the book. Kudos to Idan Boaz for a job well done!
