With Jax trying to do the right thing he stays away from Abbi, while he’s friend is having a party, until his friend tells him that Abbi is in the hospital.Jax stays by Abbi’s side even when her parents turn up and say how wrong he is for her. Although the two have paste that they feel will affect how they feel about each other, they soon realise that it doesn’t affect their feelings.Soon the time comes for Abbi to return to Uni and the only thing keeping them apart is distance, although Jax gets a surprise when he visits Abbi’s brother Ryan and has a note and a box from Abbi’s mother.Abbi sets her own plan in place to try to get the happily ever after with Jax that she wants.There is a note in the beginning of the book to read the first book Molly, I enjoyed the book and will be going to read Molly to find out more about the other characters.
Abbi by Tracy Lorraine is book 1.5 in her Angel Series. This book picks up where the last one left off. You will want to read the Molly books before this one for a little back story.Jax is angry that he isn't at the party to celebrate with his friends. He doesn't want anymore trouble with Abbi. So it's a surprise when Ryan starts pounding on his door.Abbi is in the hospital and she's asking for him.An unexpected loss brings them back together and gives Abbi the strength to confront her mother.Truths of their pasts are revealed and healing has begun. Now they just need to find away to make their relationship last. This is hard when they live so far apart ...or is it?After watching those two flounder and wanting to pull my hair out in frustration with them, it was nice to see them get their crap together. After hearing Abbi's story about her past, I could understand why she wanted to keep her relationship away from her mother.I was looking forward to reading this book and it didn't disappoint. I have no problems recommending it.
I have purchased multiple books from this series. This book is just as great as any other. The writing in the storyline is consistent and flows smoothly and is cohesive. The characters are well developed and the chemistry between Emma and Ruben is hot. While this is technically the fourth book of the series and is a complete standalone, one should read all the angel series books. Ms. Lorrianes writing is easy to read and her stories complete.
Another great read from Tracy that I had a privilege of reading. One that I will be adding to my kindle shortly😉😊. I enjoyed this being a short read for me and that the characters are ones Abbi and Jax that I really grew to care about from previous books and that they ultimately got there great ending. My only question is What's next Tracy...?ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Only problem I had to the book it was to short of a story.. but I did love it
The story of Abbi and Jax just had to be told. I loved the flashbacks, they helped enhance the story. The struggles the characters went through during the story were told perfectly to the point I felt like I was there with them. Jax in my opinion is the perfect man. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.
No kidding this book is in the top ten of, I could care less about the characters or the story line. If this book would have been any longer my eyes would have started to bleed. Shirley
Abbi Evans is Ryan's sister and it is through him and his girlfriend Molly that Abbi first meets Jax Parker. She knows from her own past that most men covered in tattoos are bad boys and he heart has been broken too many times and she is after a nice guy.But Jax isn't one of those guys and he must convince Abbi and her mom, Karen, that he is worth it and will do everything he can to treat her right?Will Jax succeed?I really love Jax and have since first meeting him in Molly. He was such a good guy and you truly want him happy after what happened with his ex. He was such an incredible friend to Molly and really deserved his happiness.I liked Abbi and gradually understood why she had some issues after learning about her past. Her and Ryan's mom scared the heck out of me and I hated the pressure that she put on her kids for finding the type of person she wanted them to have and not what they wanted for themselves.The two had so much chemistry and were so good together. I really crossed my fingers that things would work out and that they would get their happy ever after again and another chance at what they lost.
